These past couple of weeks have been a ride, and honestly, I’m stepping back into that mode again—the one where I’m consistent, disciplined, and intentional with this newsletter. I’ve been feeling motivated lately, more than I have in a long time. Not the kind of motivation that comes from hype or outside noise, but the kind that grows quietly from everything I’ve been learning and surviving these past couple of months.
Life has a way of teaching you lessons you thought you already understood. I’ve watched people go through certain struggles, and I thought I had a good idea of what they felt like. But experiencing them myself? That’s different. It hits deeper. It forces you to see people for who they really are—some selfish, some supportive, some stuck in a victim mindset they don’t want to leave. And that’s been one of the hardest realizations: some people want to stay in their pain because it’s familiar. Growth requires accountability, and not everyone is ready for that.
One thing I don’t talk about lightly is my daughter. I miss her more than you could ever understand. For anyone out there dealing with the absence of your child—listen to me—you are not alone. And I’m sorry you’re going through that, especially when it’s out of your control. That pain is heavy, and it doesn’t go away just because you stay busy or try to be strong. But I’m here to tell you something real: your time is coming, and in a way, it’s already here. You don’t have to keep walking a path built on unfairness, confusion, or misinformation. You don’t have to settle for a life that doesn’t meet your standards. You deserve clarity, peace, and connection. Keep moving toward it.
Even with all that weight, these past couple of weeks have felt more accomplishing. I’ve been stacking small wins, and one of the biggest ones—I finally secured a van for my logistics business. That’s a milestone I’ve been grinding toward for a minute. And I want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the support. You don’t understand how much it means to have people rooting for me while I’m building from the ground up.
Through all of this, I’ve learned something I call the 3 M’s—and they’re as important as oxygen itself:
Do More. Check Your Metrics. Manpower.
If you lock in on those three things, you become unstoppable. I’m still working on syncing all three together, but trust me, the alignment is coming.
The candle business is moving too. My mother has been making these handmade jars that look incredible—real artisan work. It’s a blessing to build something that involves family, legacy, and creativity all at once.
And speaking of family, my brother is getting ready to come home from jail. I’m more than hype to see him again, to watch him reset his life, and to support him as he steps into a better version of himself. I hope that by staying consistent, disciplined, and intentional, I inspire my younger siblings too—even if they don’t want to follow the same path. That’s the thing about integrity: when you live it, it speaks louder than anything you could ever say.
I haven’t written in a while because, like I said, these weeks have been a train ride. But here’s something I want you to remember: if you feel like you’re going through hell, why would you stop there? Keep going. Keep pushing. Get out of the situation you’re in and make a change. You owe yourself that.
Love,
Big Bro
